Hello!
I'm finally getting to grips with running my own little yarn business again and yay...a blog post with an FO to talk about!
It feels like forever and a day when I last cast off a garment. You see, I've been in the depths of motherhood...more notably the sleep deprivation that comes with it. Try as I might over the last eight years...I simply could not knit. Not for the want to, but purely because counting rows, stitches...anything....was just beyond my mental reach!
Today I am thrilled to share with you the Love Note Sweater I recently cast off.
Pattern: Love Note Sweater by Tin Can Knits
Yarn: Hell Candy Fuzz (Silk Mohair!) in Floss & Hell Candy Luxe Sock in Lavender Haze
This combination of silk mohair held together with merino is *chefs kiss*....SO good.
One thing I did grate over were the short rows. I have yet to find a technique that helps really close that gap up....I feel like its even more obvious on finer fibres such as these.
If anyone has a good technique they would like to share with me I am all ears as I would love to hear!
In the meantime here are some more photos of my finished object...I can't wait to wear this one in the Autumn!
